The Naked City Hub

The Naked City Hub is located at 2412 Tam Dr.

The Naked City Hub is our resource center where we offer our food pantry, case management, rental assistance, diaper pantry, household essentials, hygeine products, dental, and medical.

FOOD PANTRY

Casa’s food pantry is one of the busiest in Las Vegas, serving an average of 1,000 people per month, with half of them being children and seniors. The neighborhood surrounding Casa is considered a "food desert" meaning there are NO grocery stores. This food pantry aids the neighborhood in becoming healthier and happier by providing nutritious meals, which many families would go without if not for Casa.

Case management

Casa de Luz offers case management to families with services such as education advocacy, job help, career development, access to basic resources, and referrals to community partners. We develop case plans that fit the family's needs and help them achieve their goals. We have success with this program because we have already established relationships and trust with the neighborhood.

Youth Programs

Tutoring

Casa de Luz offers tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students in our neighborhoods. Most of our students are chronically absent and have missed instruction in school. Casa’s tutoring program focuses on helping students with reading, homework, and education advocacy. We also teach Bible to the kids everyday!

YOuth drop-in centers and mentorship

Our three youth drop-in centers are open five days a week. The teens have access to hygiene products and food that is available discreetly. They do not need permission to access these products, and they are available anytime, no questions asked. They have a daily Bible study and go on many outings, including a summer camp and mission trips.

We have volunteer positions for teens in the neighborhood that give them job skills and support them in transitioning to a job in the community. We also provide college scholarships to our young adults. These programs invest in their futures and build hope.

Outreach

Neighborhood Outreach

Casa’s mission starts with our neighborhood outreach team. Our outreach team engages our neighbors daily. We meet them at their doors, ask how they are doing, deliver some food, and invite them to Casa de Luz. As the relationships grow the neighborhood reaches out to us in times of crisis so that we can help. They also invite us to celebrate with them!
